An Amazon moderator on the Amazon.it seller forums quoted Amazon's notice on 4 August 2026: from 12 August 2026 sellers of packaging and packaged products must submit an EPR registration number, “anche se utilizzi il servizio EPR Paga per Conto Mio” (“even if you use the EPR Pay on Behalf service”). For Italy, that number is your CONAI number. A foreign company gets it by joining CONAI with an Italian address as its domicilio speciale. Listings without a valid number can be deactivated.
